Hi Golfer,

It was more than a solid weekend on Tour. Rory McIlroy made it two in a row at the Wells Fargo (though I suppose one could argue it’s 1.5 in a row coming out of the team event at the Zurich). Chris Gotterup won the alternate field Myrtle Beach Classic, where 16-year-old Blades Brown (how great is that name?) made the cut.

On the LPGA side, Nelly Korda’s streak ended at 5 after a playoff victory for Rose Zhang.

All of that as we roll into PGA Championship week and the 2nd major of the season.

Valhalla awaits.

SuperSpeed Sues the Stack System

Do You Object?

SuperSpeed has sued The Stack System, a speed training competitor founded by noted golf biomechanist Sasho Mackenzie and Marty Jertson, a long-time PING engineer and Tour competitor, for false advertising.

Somebody call Judge Judy.

While an actual court might someday render the only verdict that matters (there are no guarantees this goes to trial), there’s sure to be a good bit of discussion in the court of public opinion as to whether SuperSpeed has a legitimate cause for complaint or if this might be a case of sour grapes over a competitor building a better mousetrap.
