✅ Try this Hack!

for more distance!

Hi Golfer,

How do you keep your game sharp during the offseason?

It’s cooling down a bit here, and I’m sensing the golfing season coming to a close. Curious what tips you have to keep your game sharp when you can’t get out there and play.

And yes, I know I’m lucky to work at a place with an indoor golf simulator at my disposal.

TOGETHER WITH BIRDIEBALL

The Art of the Roll

What makes Birdieball mats so good?

The secret that makes BirdieBall the king of putting mats is something you’ve probably never heard of: aerated polymers.

Yeah, I know. From the looks of it, you’d think it’s plain old foam, right? But according to John Breaker—BirdieBall’s owner, inventor and wannabe Elon Musk—you’d be wrong.

TUESDAY THOUGHTS

Fall Golf is here!

There is a certain beauty to playing golf in the fall.

Fall golf is where you will find temperatures in the 60s, a light quarter-zip and pants being the perfect attire. You can almost smell it, right? Pumpkin spice and Pro V1s.

The days are shorter, the ball isn’t flying as far as it did during the summer and the shadows grow more distinct. The changing leaves are gorgeous to look at but annoying when it comes to finding your ball in the inevitable piles of foliage that accumulate in the rough.

And have you ever skulled a wedge when it’s chilly out? A little like hitting a baseball too far up the barrel, stinging your hands like the club is mad at you.

But for whatever is taken away during fall golf, there are other elements added.

For many of us, October represents the last meaningful golf we will play until the spring. It’s bittersweet—the clubs are about to be put away for a few months, but that absence also grows the appreciation for each round. You savor every moment left.

The football fans among us scramble to get in a Saturday or Sunday morning round before kickoff. Getting back to the house—having not broken a sweat but still having the feeling of being sun-kissed—is one of the top feelings in golf. Add in your favorite beverage and you have something of a dream.

Pretty soon it will be over. Frigid temps and snow will be here. There will be no more birdies, bogeys, perfectly struck wedges, shanks and everything in between.

We’ll just have to imagine what 2025 has in store for us.
