Hi Golfer,

Do you have custom wedges? If so, what did you stamp them with? Thereā€™s always a lot of initials, catchphrases, etc.

If I was more creative Iā€™d love to try customizing my own.

Iā€™m a big believer in making golf more personal and custom. From clubs to shoes, and even golf balls. I think more personalization is always better.

Iā€™d love for someone like NIKE or adidas to bring back their custom golf shoe program. I could spend hours designing the perfect pair.

We played Bandonā€™s new short course

Perfectly short.

On a perfect July 4th afternoon, with no clouds in the sky and cool air coming off the Pacific Ocean, I stepped onto the first tee of Bandon Dunesā€™ newest course.

Having opened this past May, Shortyā€™s is now the seventh layout at the resort that recently celebrated its 25-year anniversary.

Is newer always better?

Not so fast.

Weā€™ve always said that it takes at least 5 years to warrant a driver upgrade. This number is especially true if youā€™ve been fit for your current driver.

If your driver is only 1 or two years old, youā€™re better of saving some cash and picking up some high quality golf balls, or maybe even replacing your wedges.

We recently tested clubs that are one decade apart, and the results are quite compelling.
